About the role

The Senior Coordinator Student Wellbeing Case Management delivers holistic developmental advice advocacy and case management to students with multiple and complex wellbeing needs across all campuses. The student wellbeing needs will include significant personal social financial and/or emotional issues that impact their academic and personal performance.

As a Senior Coordinator Student Wellbeing Case Management you will:

  • Lead comprehensive student-centred wellbeing assessments identifying and prioritising the students needs and barriers for engagement and where appropriate address immediate needs.
  • In collaboration with the student develop and implement wellbeing case management plans supportively addressing barriers for engagement and coordinate student engagement with the relevant internal and external wellbeing support services.
  • Collaborate closely with the relevant support teams and relevant stakeholders to coordinate care management to meet student wellbeing needs.
  • Establish and maintain strong and effective relationships with relevant internal and external wellbeing support services to maximise student accessibility referral and engagement
  • Actively apply wellbeing expertise and knowledge to lead and/or contribute to other projects and initiatives across Student Services.

To be successful youll have:

  • Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualification and extensive relevant experience in social work or equivalent; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training in social work.
  • Demonstrated experience and expertise in best practice holistic wellbeing case management
  • Demonstrated ability to support clients who are experiencing multiple and complex issues; housing academic mental health financial relationship complexities and/or social isolation.
  • Knowledge of the tertiary university context and the range of issues faced by a diverse student population.
