Summary

This position is responsible for the management of the change order proposal process and the coordination of change order implementation. This position must maintain effective and efficient relationships with the Prime Contractor and/or Government in order to change terms and implement approved changes.

Location

This position is full time (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and will be onsite at our Percival Rd location in Florence SC.

Government Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance which requires applicants to be a U.S. Citizen.

SCA Benefit Requirements: BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina and its subsidiary companies have contracts with the federal government subject to the Service Contract Act (SCA). Under the McNamara-OHara Service Contract Act (SCA) employees cannot opt out of health benefits. Employees will receive supplemental pay until they are enrolled in health benefits 28 days after the hire date.

What You Will Do:

  • Coordinates with internal departments and external contacts in order to ensure accurate and timely change order implementation processes

  • Troubleshoots and facilitates problem resolution and/or training as necessary to ensure that procedures are accurate and compliant based on the constraints of the contracts

  • Responsible for internal coordination preparation and submission of timely and accurate responses to Prime/DHA and/or other informational requests

  • Works with internal departments and external contacts on the preparation and submission of change order proposals ensuring that all contractual obligations are met

  • Participates in compliance updates ensuring that all corporate and contractor policies and procedures are administered timely consistently and accurately

  • Creates and maintains project management tools to monitor track and report on change implementation proposal submission development contract revision and training materials

  • Monitors the education and training of internal and external customers

  • Manages staff and prepare training policy and procedure documents to facilitate the workflow

To Qualify for This Position You Will Need:

  • Required Education: Bachelors in a job related field OR 4 years job related work experience or Associates and 2 years job related work experience. (Equivalency not applicable for the Celerian Group. Bachelors degree required)

  • Required Work Experience: 5 years of management experience. 1 year of experience in government programs (can be concurrent)
