Athletic Director Maryville High School
Position Overview
Maryville High Schoolseeks a qualified Athletic Director for grades 1012 (and soon 9-12). This full-time benefited positionoperateson a 220-day contract and reports directly to the principal. The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership and oversight of all athletic programs while collaborating with faculty staff and students to foster a culture of excellence and sportsmanship.
Required Qualifications
- Valid teaching certificate
- No coaching responsibilities during tenure as Athletic Director

- Head coaching experience at the high school level minimum of 5 years
- Administrative experience preferred
- Minimum of 5 years combined coaching and teaching experience
- Demonstrated ability to support and sustain highly competitive athletic programs
- Track recordof recruiting developing andretainingqualified coaches
- Strong analytical organizational and leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication public relations and interpersonal skills
- Proven fiscal management and fundraisingexpertise
- Understanding of TSSAA policies and guidelines
