Senior Associate, Global Funds Solutions Restructuring
Job Summary
Kroll are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Dublin Restructuring team supporting a wide range of restructuring insolvency and investigative mandates across multiple industries. This role will work closely with both our local Irish team and our global restructuring specialists contributing to complex and highprofile engagements throughout the business lifecycle.
While you will also support our growing Funds Solutions practice we do not expect candidates to have prior experience in the funds sector. Full training will be provided. What matters most is a strong foundation in restructuring insolvency or specialsituations work along with the ability to adapt and learn quickly.
Navigating Responsibilities:
Manage and progress a portfolio of restructuring insolvency and investigative assignments ensuring work is delivered efficiently and on time.
Demonstrate strong organisation ownership and proactive management of tasks across multiple engagements.
Monitor deadlines communicate progress clearly and escalate issues where needed.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including senior team members clients creditors and advisors.
Support senior staff in high level decision making on complex restructuring and special situations matters.
On advisory and restructuring assignments you will:
Assist with financial analysis and the review of financial information.
Review cash flow forecasts and support the assessment of business viability.
Contribute to drafting reports proposals and analysis for distressed businesses and special situations mandates.
Assist with options analysis for companies funds and other entities in financial difficulty.
In addition you will support our growing Funds Solutions practice (training provided):
Contribute to fund related projects such as asset realisations investment reporting and transition management.
Support the preparation of investment proposals and other fund-related documentation.
Build and maintain professional relationships with fund managers financial sponsors creditors asset agents solicitors and other stakeholders.
Visit client premises as required and liaise with management teams and employees during engagements.
Essential Traits:
- Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to develop and drive relationships with individuals from all industries.
- Ability to master new tasks quickly whilst showing strong attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and work on multiple assignments
- Ability to manage rapidly changing assignments and work well under pressure
- Strong team player and work in a team environment across multiple mandates.
- Strong analytical critical thinking and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to assess and manage risk deal with ambiguity and understand the commercial drivers of the outcomes of our work
- Relevant degree achieving 2:1 or equivalent.
- At least 3 years relevant experience.
- A relevant accounting or investment qualification is preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
