CrewSELECT is seeking experienced Electricians with strong switchroom build experience to join a well-established workshop team based in Forrestdale. This is a hands-on role suited to candidates who enjoy detailed electrical assembly installation and workshop-based projects.

Switchroom Electricians

The Role

Working within a structured workshop environment you will be involved in the assembly installation and wiring of switchroom and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Switchroom manufacturing and assembly
Installation of lighting and power outlets
Cable pulling and cable ladder installation
Wiring of switchboard assemblies
Installation of electrical accessories
Modification of gland plates
PLC and I/O wiring
General electrical fit-out and workshop duties

Requirements

Electrical Licence (Mandatory)
Proven switchroom build experience (Essential)
Current LVR/CPR
Forklift Ticket (Ideal)
EWP & Working at Heights (Ideal)
Strong attention to detail and ability to read drawings

Whats on Offer

Flat hourly rate allowances
$2.00/hr site allowance (Forrestdale workshop only)
Electrician licence allowance: $38.46 per week
Overtime available:
- Time & a Half: $88.09/hr
- Double Time: $117.45/hr
Paid overtime after 38 hours per week

Working Hours

Monday to Friday: 6:00am 4.00pm
Saturday: 6:00am 11:00am (as required)
38-hour standard week

Project Details

Location: Forrestdale Workshop/Yard
Start: MidLate April
Duration: 12months with strong potential for permanent employment
