POSITION: ASSESSMENT/MTSS COORDINATOR

COMMENCING DATE: July 2026

QUALIFICATIONS:

Class AA Mississippi Teachers License
Knowledge and skills in Secondary classroom instructional methods and management
Knowledge of State MAAP/SATP Programs and requirements
Knowledge of Multi-Tiered Support System
Knowledge of IEP 504 and LEP processes and accommodations
Skilled in data tracking and dissemination
Interpersonal skills in working with students professional colleagues administration and parents
Strong written and oral communication skills: grammar spelling punctuation
Strong computer skills
Good physical condition with ability to lift 10 pounds

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist the principal in providing a positive school climate that is conducive to learning following all policies and procedures as stated in Ocean Springs School Board Policy.

SALARY:
Commensurate with the Ocean Springs salary schedule for certified positions for the 2026-2027 school year.

Any person desiring to transfer within the system must adhere to School Board Policy GBE
