Responsibilities
Volunteering at Change Grow Live
As a Volunteer Administrator you will play a key role is supporting the service ensuring all communication between staff service uses and partner agencies runs smoothly this includes answering calls and directing enquires. You will be a valued member of the administration team supporting them in various administrative roles including booking appointments sending letters and general office duties such as photocopying filing and scanning. On the job training will be provided all you need is an organised approach and a willingness to learn.
As an admin volunteer your key responsibilities will be:
- Support the processing of correspondence and data entry.
- Take minutes at team meeting or other meetings as required.
- Maintain and update information databases ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Assist with the development and management of service databases to meet operational needs.
- Support the day-to-day running of the office including:
Welcoming visitors
Answering phone calls
- Support the maintenance of the office environment.
- Assist in promoting and maintaining health and safety standards within the building.
- Support the preparation of reports and prescriptions.
- Assist with inputting checking and validating data on local and national systems (e.g. NDTMS) ensuring quality standards are met.
