Are you a curious analytical new graduate looking to build a career in energy finance or commercial strategy
Join a structured two-year rotational program (three 8-month placements) within the Power Business Unit in Calgary gaining exposure to core commercial functions across our renewable energy assets and project lifecycles. Youll build strong analytical and financial fundamentals while contributing to valuation performance insights and growth-focused commercial work. At the end of two years you will move to a permanent role within the Power team.

What you will do
Complete three rotations across key commercial teams to understand Powers end-to-end asset and project lifecycle.
Build and refine economic models scenarios and investment cases to support valuation and structuring decisions.
Analyze asset performance using operational financial and commercial inputs to identify value drivers and improvement opportunities.
Research markets competitors and industry trends to inform commercial strategy and growth assessments.
Create clear presentations and briefing materials for stakeholders and senior leadership to enable governance and approvals.
Who you are
Recent graduate or anticipating graduation soon in Business Economics Engineering Sciences or a related field.
Experience through internships/co-ops or early-career roles in energy/energy infrastructure professional services or engineering services considered an asset.
Sophisticated Excel and PowerPoint skills with a strong focus on accuracy and organization.
A clear communicator who can synthesize complex information into concise written and verbal messages. Curious and eager to learn with an interest in developing credentials such as CFA CPA or PMP (asset).
Knowledge of project management or risk management or accounting issues considered an asset
Minimum GPA 3.0 or 75% (Transcripts will be required from successful candidates)
