Responsibilities
- Perform routine testing of concrete aggregates and raw materials to ensure compliance with ASTM ACI and company standards.
- Monitor and adjust mix designs based on test results and project requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of test results inspections and adjustments.
- Conduct on-site sampling and testing at job sites as needed.
- Collaborate with plant operators and dispatch to resolve quality issues promptly.
- Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained.
- Assist in troubleshooting material or mix inconsistencies.
What Were Looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Construction Materials or related field preferred.
- Must have valid ACI certification.
- Certified PennDOT Technician recommended.
- Knowledge of concrete properties mix design and testing procedures.
- Familiarity with ASTM and ACI standards.
- Ability to work in outdoor and plant environments.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
Must have correctable vision with reasonably good night vision; Must be able to lift and carry 50 to 100 lbs. occasionally and /or 25 to 50 lbs. frequently and/or 10 to 20 lbs. constantly to move objects; Requires manual dexterity and ability to bend twist turn stretch squat kneel sit and stand for extended periods; Must be able to work in elevated enclosed and sometimes hazardous areas in changing weather conditions.
