- Responsible for maintaining a strong client relationship and ensure that all convention specifications are communicated to and executed by all departments.
- Oversee events manage the team and allocate responsibilities to the team.
- Coordinate and supervise the execution of all events to ensure clients specifications are adhered to and that the convention runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Any matter which may effect the interests of ACCOR should be brought to the attention of the Management.
- To prepare and submit in the prescribed format the information necessary for budgeting purposes.
- Conduct departmental meeting as required to communicate effectively with all events department team to ensure that they are kept current on pertinent information and activities.
- To ensure a prompt courteous response and follow up to all enquiries.
- Ensure that duty rosters are compiled with making certain that adequate number of the team will be on duty.
- To ensure that the service of food and beverages is courteous and professional.
- Responsible for smooth efficient cost effective operation of all Events functions.
