Job Summary

Description

This internship provides administrative and operational support to the Finance Project Management and Design divisions. The intern will assist with routine financial processing project coordination and front-office support while gaining hands-on experience in a professional office environment. The position also provides exposure to design and project management operations and supports the Design Manager with calendar coordination and daily administrative needs.

To qualify for this internship applicants must be a current student or have graduated within the past 12 months.

Work Details

  • Position Type: Temporary part-time internship
  • Hours: Flexible within standard business hours Monday through Friday
  • Location: Salt Lake City UT
  • Position Length: This is a one-year internship for 20-28 hours a week
  • Pay rate: $22.50/hr


Responsibilities

Finance Division

Generate purchase orders (POs) for contracts and general quotes

Process change orders

Review and process invoices

Assist with employee expense reports

Project Management Division

Coordinate parking and badge access for staff contractors and visitors

Track insurance documentation

Maintain and track Master Agreements Contractor Qualification forms and Consultant Qualification forms

General Administrative Support

  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the department including meeting coordination office services and frontoffice support
  • Support daytoday administrative functions such as correspondence handling scheduling and visitor coordination
  • Assist department leadership with calendar coordination and routine administrative needs


Qualifications
  • 2 years of administrative experience preferred
  • Current student or recent graduate (within the last 12 months)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills and provides friendly helpful support to colleagues and visitors.

  • Possesses excellent customer service skills with a professional and approachable demeanor.

  • Works well as part of a team building positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.

Paid Interns are qualified while enrolled in an educational institution and for one year following graduation. They must sign a Paid Internship Engagement Letter.
