DO YOU BREAK THE MOULD

We are looking for a Senior Consultant with a strong consulting and project management toolkit to play a central role in Dalberg Medias work supporting the Secretariat of the Danish Alliance for Global Health. While the role sits within Dalberg Medias broader consulting environment your primary focus will be contributing to and strengthening this platform initiative.

You will support all phases of project delivery from conceptualization and scoping to implementation and follow-up working closely with the Project Manager to ensure structured execution high-quality outputs and strong stakeholder engagement. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and offers significant responsibility from the outset.

Operating with a high degree of independence you will help translate strategic priorities into actionable workstreams contribute to shaping project direction and support a multidisciplinary team of consultants. You will act as a trusted thought partner within the team contributing perspectives challenging assumptions constructively and helping elevate overall project delivery.

The role sits at the intersection of global health advocacy and public affairs. Through the Alliance Secretariat you will engage stakeholders across government civil society private sector and international partners to help advance dialogue partnerships and influence around global health priorities in Denmark and beyond.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Supporting end-to-end project delivery across multiple workstreams within the Alliance Secretariat
• Bringing structured consulting and project management approaches to planning execution and follow-up
• Working closely with the Project Manager to translate strategic priorities into operational delivery
• Independently driving workstreams while coaching and supporting junior consultants
• Conducting ongoing analysis and translating political trends into strategic messaging
• Contributing to cross-sector stakeholder engagement and relationship management across partners and collaborators
• Supporting public affairs and advocacy efforts including identifying opportunities for engagement within the Danish and Nordic political landscape
• Leading events meetings workshops and stakeholder interactions and presenting insights to senior and politically experienced audiences
• Ensuring high-quality well-structured and impactful project deliverables
• Supporting coordination progress tracking and reporting across the Secretariats activities

You are comfortable taking ownership and driving work forward independently while collaborating closely with others. You enjoy working as a sparring partner within a team environment strengthening ideas supporting colleagues and contributing to thoughtful and rigorous decision-making.

You bring an understanding of how influence happens in practice and are motivated by working at the intersection of policy partnerships and global impact. You combine a global outlook with solid knowledge of Danish politics and stakeholder dynamics across sectors.

Additionally your qualifications include:

• A masters degree in political science international relations development studies public/global health international business communications or a related field
• Several years of relevant professional experience beyond entry level ideally within public affairs consulting international development global health or related sectors
• Strong understanding of Danish politics policymaking processes and stakeholder landscapes
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage workstreams and balance multiple priorities in dynamic environments
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• A strong consulting and project management toolkit including structured problem-solving and delivery approaches
• Experience contributing to advocacy public affairs strategy or policy-oriented initiatives
• A global mindset and interest in international development or global health
• Professional fluency in Danish and English

It is an advantage if you also bring:

• Experience from the private or commercial sector alongside impact-driven work
• Experience with strategic communications creative processes or event-based engagement formats
• Strong research analytical or data-driven capabilities
