Your future role
An opportunity has become available to join Alstom within ourVictorian Regional Rollingstock Maintenance Contract. As ourMaintenance Operations Manager you will play a critical role in leading the operational teams across several different sites to optimize the fleet performance while ensuring that safety remains top priority. Reporting to the Project Director you will be a key member of the senior leadership team and be responsible for driving operational efficiency and continuous improvement. This role will primarily be based at our depot inWest Melbourne and South Dynon with ocassional travel to South Dynon Ballarat and Geelong.
Well look to you for:
- Leading coaching and managinglarge mulit-disciplined (trade and management) teams across multiple sites.
- The management of all depot productionand maintenance activities across a 24/7 operation accountable for P/L.
- Working with the Fleet Support Centre and 24/7 Help Desk who provide in-service support to drivers.
- Working closely with the Planning team to effectively adjust short-term planning while supporting thelong-term maintenance planning activity.
- Driving change and the continuous improvement of maintenance operations.
- Championing a safety first culture across the operation.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships engage and influence at all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and leading continuous improvement initiatives.
- A commercially focused approach to operational management.
- The demonstrated ability to lead coach and manage large multi-discipline teams in a fast-paced operation environment.
- Significant experience in a similar role managing maintenance operations in Rollingstock Maintenance or a similar industry.
