As a Security Officer - Night Walking Patrol in Durham NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and support staff patients and visitors with professional customer service. You will conduct routine rounds respond to calls for assistance document observations and communicate clearly with your team. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures access control practices and security-related policies within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications and assisting with emergency response activities as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor cameras radios and other systems as assigned document observations and complete required reports and logs with clear accurate details.
• Support visitor management and traffic flow by providing directions assisting with wayfinding and helping staff with security-related requests consistent with post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have customer service experience preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
