Join the FIC Sales Technology team within Deutsche Banks Client 360 Technology group. As an AVP Software Engineer you will be a handson contributor building modern UI components backend services and datadriven features that directly support our Fixed Income & Currencies (FIC) sales organisation. AI technologies will be central to the platforms evolution and the systems you build will connect with and enable the AIdriven Sales Assistant capabilities we plan to deliver.
We are looking for an ambitious engineer with strong technical skills and a genuine interest in the FIC business. You will work on a mix of AIrelated features and core application components contribute to shaping the technical direction and expand your influence on the technical direction over time while delivering highquality software used directly by frontoffice teams

Your key responsibilities
- Building highperformance scalable software components using modern engineering practices and contribute to complex technical problemsolving
- Supporting the design and implementation of distributed serviceoriented architectures using Java or Kotlin ensuring reliability and maintainability
- Creating intuitive and responsive user interfaces using React improving how salespeople access insights and manage client workflows
- Contributing to AIdriven capabilities including NLP and predictive analytics that enhance sales effectiveness and client engagement
- Integrating with existing systems and help build a cohesive datadriven sales technology ecosystem aligned with Deutsche Banks strategic direction
- Working closely with sales product data and engineering teams to gather requirements shape solutions and ensure successful delivery
Your skills and experience
- Engineering background delivering complex software in fastpaced environments with a solid grounding in ObjectOriented and/or Functional programming and proven use of XP/agile practices including TDD acceptance testing pair programming and continuous integration
- Proficiency in Java or Kotlin and familiarity with building modern web applications Typescript and modern React
- Experience applying iterative development to deliver high-value outcomes in complex domains
- Experience contributing to AI/ML features (e.g. NLP data processing or modeldriven systems) combined with practical use of AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot in a humanintheloop iterative workflow
- Familiarity with CI/CD observability and operating production systems
- Understanding of front-office or revenue-generating technology in an investment bank together with knowledge of FIC products (FX Credit Rates or EM) or a strong motivation to develop this domain expertise and learn sales workflows
