Job Summary

Producing a much-loved beverage iconic to Queensland XXXX is a part of QLD culture and one of Lions flagship sites! Within the Supply Chain team at XXXX we are empowered to make an impact through delivering best in class manufacturing solutions.

As part of this we are looking for aPackaging Quality & Materials Officer(internal title is Packaging Quality & Materials Analyst) to join our team at Milton on a permanent full-time basis. This role will report into the Packaging Quality Leader and is part of a small but critical team governing quality standards and processes across the Packaging department making sure every drop of our product meets the high standards our consumers expect.

What Youll Do:

  • Support site performance achievement by driving a quality and safety culture through coaching and building capability in production team members.
  • Support and manage inventory control process to ensure materials availability to packaging teams
  • Prepare and deliver detailed quality reports trends and risk analyses to inform decision-making.
  • Partner with different internal and external stakeholders to support packaging operations.
  • Coordinate contractor compliance and contributing to supplier performance reviews.
  • Assist production teams by being a key part of New Product Development along with changes to packaging and brewing specifications.
  • Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

What Youll Bring:

  • Packaging experience in the food or beverage industry with a strong understanding of food industry standards GMP/ HACCP and inventory control processes.
  • A degree in Science Engineering Chemistry Food Technology Supply Chain or a related field.
  • SAP experience highly regarded
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and coach and collaborate across teams
  • Great problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • A proactive improvement-focused mindset with the confidence to initiate and drive improvement projects.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
