Job Summary
We are currently building a talent pool of skilled CAD Technicians for upcoming opportunities with multiple clients across the United Kingdom and Ireland.
This is not a single vacancy but a pooling portal designed to identify and engage qualified candidates for current and future roles as they arise.
Successful applicants will be considered for positions across engineering construction manufacturing and design projects depending on client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Create modify and maintain 2D and 3D CAD drawings for engineering architectural or manufacturing projects
Translate technical specifications sketches and ideas into accurate CAD models
Collaborate with engineers designers and project teams to ensure drawings meet project requirements
Ensure CAD files comply with industry standards version control and documentation practices
Assist in preparing drawings for manufacturing construction or assembly purposes
Review and update drawings to reflect changes in design or production requirements
Support project teams with technical drawings and documentation
Requirements
Proven experience as a CAD Technician Draftsperson or similar role
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD SolidWorks Inventor Revit or similar)
Knowledge of technical drawings engineering standards and drafting conventions
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Effective communication skills and the ability to interpret technical instructions
Willingness to relocate to the UK or Ireland for employment
Language Requirement (Mandatory)
As part of the visa and employment requirements:
Candidates must hold a valid UKVI IELTS (Academic or General Training)
A minimum score of 5.5 in each section (Listening Reading Writing and Speaking) is required
