Job Summary
Job Description
We are recruiting an experienced CAD Technician to join a growing design & build company delivering exhibition stands event environments and branded spaces.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong technical drawing and CAD skills looking to work on fast-paced creative projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce 2D & 3D CAD drawings (exhibition stands / event structures)
- Create CNC machining plans and production drawings
- Prepare artwork templates for large-format graphics
- Ensure compliance with venue regulations & build standards
- Support design project and production teams throughout delivery
Requirements
- Experience using AutoCAD or Vectorworks
- Background in fabrication construction joinery or exhibitions
- Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
Desirable
- Exhibition events or retail fit-out experience
- Knowledge of CDM / UK event regulations
