Key responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering engaging Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Supporting pupils in developing numeracy reasoning and problem-solving skills

• Preparing pupils for GCSE Mathematics examinations

• Monitoring pupil progress and providing structured feedback

• Delivering targeted interventions for pupils who require additional support

• Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development

• Supporting enrichment activities such as maths clubs or competitions

• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Experience and Skills

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

• Have strong subject knowledge in Mathematics

• Be confident teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4

• Demonstrate excellent classroom management skills

• Be able to motivate pupils and encourage a positive attitude towards maths

• Work effectively within a collaborative department

• Be committed to professional development and improving outcomes
