Planning and delivering high-quality Physics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
Supporting pupils understanding of key concepts and practical skills
Preparing pupils for GCSE examinations and practical assessments
Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to support improvement
Maintaining a safe and organised laboratory environment
Supporting practical investigations and experiments
Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives
Participating in extracurricular science activities
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Have excellent subject knowledge in Physics
Be confident teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
Be able to motivate and inspire pupils of varying abilities
Work collaboratively within the department and school
Be committed to ongoing professional development
