The Role

The school is seeking a creative technically skilled and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to deliver engaging lessons across KS3KS5. Person Specification

• Qualified Food Technology Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a degree in Food Science Nutrition or a related field

• Proven experience teaching Food Technology/Nutrition at GCSE (A-Level or vocational experience is also desirable)

• Excellent culinary skills and a genuine passion for food education

• In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety and food hygiene regulations (Level 2/3 Food Safety certificate preferred)

• Ability to inspire challenge and engage students with both the practical and theoretical aspects of the subject

• Commitment to contributing to the wider school community including bake-offs catering for school events or healthy eating initiatives
