Job Summary:
- The Junior Business Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in the organizations data-driven decision-making processes. The BI Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and deliver data solutions that support strategic initiatives.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Write optimize and troubleshoot complex SQL queries to extract manipulate and analyze data from relational/central databases.
- Translate complex data analyses into clear and actionable visualizations.
- Gather analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends patterns and insights.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Create ad-hoc queries and reports to support specific business needs.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all analyses and reports.
- Work closely with business units to understand their data needs and requirements.
- Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
- Stay current with the latest BI technologies tools and best practices.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft SSRS andPowerBI
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Level Specifications:
- Foundational knowledge of specialized disciplines industry practices and standards acquired via academic instruction and/or relevant work experience of substantially the same level.
- Develops solutions to defined tasks typical assignments and projects. May be solved by the application of specialized foundational knowledge using existing approaches and solutions.
- Work is usually performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion. Receives initial direction although work may be reviewed for accuracy and quality.
- Collaborates with immediate management and team members within the department or function.
- Actions typically affect own work assignments and department. Erroneous decisions or failure to accomplish work may require some assistance or resources to remedy.
Work Experience:
- Freshers or less than 2 years with bachelors or equivalent.
Education and Certification(s):
- Bachelors degree Computer Science Statistics or a related field (B.E. or MCA).
- Proven experience as a BI Analyst or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in BI tools (e.g. MSBI Power BI).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of SQL and data modeling.
- Experience with data warehousing concepts and tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
