Role ARE Application Release Engineer

Location Toronto Canada
Pay Rate / Hr CAD 48-49/Hr on T4
Work Model Hybrid ( 2 4 days to office)
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and coordinate application releases across non production and production environments
- Manage cross functional release activities cutovers and deployment windows
- Support deployments on Azure AKS and Azure App Service (ASP)
- Build maintain and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
- Ensure release readiness environment parity and rollback plans
- Drive release documentation (runbooks cutover plans) and post release validation
- Support release governance and continuous improvement through automation
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in application release management / release engineering
- Hands on experience with Azure Cloud including AKS and App Services
- CI/CD experience using GitHub Actions
- Proven ability to work cross functionally and manage complex releases
- Good understanding of deployment security and operational readiness practices
