Role: Project Control Officer
Duration: 7 Months contract

Location & work model: Toronto ON Hybrid (2 days per week onsite at client office)
Project Background:
- The Project Control Officer will be responsible for supporting the successful planning execution monitoring and governance of projects by providing oversight across scheduling financial tracking reporting risk management documentation and stakeholder coordination. This role works closely with project managers delivery teams and business stakeholders to ensure projects remain on track within budget and aligned with organizational standards and objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor project progress against timelines milestones deliverables and interdependencies to help ensure successful delivery.
- Track and manage project financials including budgets forecasts actuals and cost-to-complete estimates.
- Prepare and maintain project status reports dashboards and executive updates to provide clear visibility into project health progress and performance.
- Identify project risks issues and dependencies and support the development and execution of mitigation and resolution plans.
- Maintain project governance artifacts documentation logs and compliance records to ensure accuracy completeness and adherence to standards.
- Coordinate communication between project managers cross-functional teams and stakeholders to support alignment decision-making and issue resolution.
- Support project planning scheduling and governance activities by ensuring key controls and processes are followed consistently.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project controls reporting practices and delivery governance processes.
Proficiency with project management and reporting tools such as Microsoft Project Excel Power BI Jira or similar platforms
