Local: $20/hr.
Travel no housing: $16/hr. (all taxable) $240/week (tax-free)

Service Description:
Performs duties within the Medical Assistant scope of practice to support quality patient care under the direct supervision of medical or nursing personnel. Responsible for accurate documentation in the electronic health record. Prepares patients for examination and treatment obtains patient histories vital signs and chief complaints. Supports clinical and administrative workflows within a correctional health setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
Prepare patients for exams treatments and procedures
Obtain and document vital signs medical histories and chief complaints
Administer injections immunizations and TB skin tests per protocol
Perform venipuncture and basic lab testing
Transcribe provider orders and coordinate follow-up appointments
Maintain exam room readiness and supply inventory
Complete accurate and timely documentation in EHR systems
Support front and back office operations including scheduling scanning and filing
Utilize Microsoft Office for documentation tracking and communication
Supporting Documentation and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Certificate of completion from an accredited Medical Assistant program (per A.R.S. 32-1456 or applicable exceptions)
Current completed fit testing for N95 respirators
Current First Aid Certification
Minimum one year of recent experience as a Medical Assistant or CHT
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook)
