A Long Term Care facility is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time contract assignment. This role requires flexibility with rotating shifts and the ability to work consecutive weekends as needed. A valid Hawaii LPN license is required prior to the start of the assignment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to LTC residents
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with state and facility guidelines
- Support residents with ADLs and chronic condition management
- Monitor patient status document care and report changes promptly
- Collaborate with RNs physicians and interdisciplinary staff
- Maintain compliance with safety protocols and LTC care standards
- Minimum 4 years of nursing experience preferably in Long Term Care
- Active Hawaii LPN License required prior to assignment start
(As required by role and state regulations; may vary based on assignment needs)
- BLS Required
- Additional certifications listed but not universally required for LTC roles may include:
ACLS PALS NRP CPI ENPC TNCC NIHSS STABLE ASLS among others
- Holiday Coverage Required
- Holiday pay is only applied when a shift begins on the holiday
- Bilingual not required
- Setting: Long Term Care (LTC)
- Schedule: 40 hours/week rotating shifts
- May include consecutive weekends depending on staffing needs
