Position: Project/Program Manager III (Communications)
Location: Seattle WA 98121
Duration: 8 Months
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Onsite
Pay range: $70.00 - $77.00/hourly
Job Description:
  • Responsible for the coordination and completion of project/program.
  • Oversees all aspects of projects/program.
  • Sets deadlines assigns responsibilities and monitors and summarizes progress of project/program.
  • Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project/program.
  • May require a bachelors degree and at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
  • Familiar with a variety of the fields concepts practices and procedures.
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks. Leads and directs the work of others.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Purpose of the Team and key projects:
  • The role involves both developing responses to inquiries and engaging directly with reporters.
  • Task Breakdown and Workflow:
  • 20% meetings 20% handling incoming and internal emails 40% research to support media responses and prepare for potential inquiries and 20% miscellaneous overhead including inbox management AI tool refinement and shorter team calls.

  • The role involves handling negative media inquiries developing responses and engaging directly with reporters.
