Position Summary
This is a management role and this person will play a critical role in management of delivery
change management and development of Enterprise planning Financial consolidation
reporting solutions leveraging EPM platforms like Anaplan Pigment Just Perform Jedox SAP
BPC/SAC and Onestream (planned) that shall be deployed as per agreed customer statement
of work based engagements or as internal Planafin product development comprising of
Planafin’s IP products functional solution accelerators project management solutions etc.
In addition to performing a delivery and project management role as required this role shall
also have team management of India based consultants attributed to it and will also support the
expansion of Planafin’s MEA India Europe and North America EPM practice by assisting in
pre-sales and go to market initiatives.
Key Accountabilities:
Must have 5-8Yr of experience in Project Management role in IT Service Delivery /Consulting having implemented large scale IT projects
Lead and conduct daily stand-up/scrum meeting and monitor the team’s activities and timesheets on daily basis
Single point of contact for project team and responsible for communicating and lead/coordinating with client for all project related discussions and prioritize the requirement within agreed effort and timelines
Participate in and supervise the successful execution of each stage of the project communicated with the project team members and stakeholders
Determine project roles assign responsibilities and deadlines for each team member provide the necessary leadership and keep teams committed motivated and productive throughout the project
Facilitating the development of all elements of the project plans and schedule according to the project brief i.e. plans for scope schedule budget change management issues risk testing training communication
Keep track of project scope and ensuring that the project goals and objectives are delivered on-time and within budget.
Managing proposed changes in scope schedule or budget with key stakeholders relaying any impact to cost schedule or scope and providing a recommended course of action. Facilitate change requests to ensure that all parties are informed and re-baselining of the project plans as required.
Gather project requirements to develop and employ tactical detail-oriented sprint plans. Detailed identification and scheduling of the project user stories milestones inclusive of all sub-activities and tasks.
Document detailed project findings for evaluation strive for continual improvement.
Perform risk management continuously assess and monitor project risks. Create and manage mitigation plans to minimize the project risks ensuring that project team members are actively involved in the identification and where appropriate the ownership of risks initiating corrective action where necessary
Managing maintaining and tracking the overall project plan controls budget and work assignments
Track and report project status and performance using appropriate KPIs metrics tools and techniques.
Preparing weekly and monthly status reports by gathering analyzing and summarizing relevant project information.
Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
Establish and drive effective project communication plans and channels with internal/external project resources client and ensuring their execution
Coordinating the development of project documentations user manuals training materials and other projects documents as needed
Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients.
Managing customer satisfaction and expectation and obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables and milestones
Conducting post project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements
Holding KPI ownership to ensure project is executed and delivered as per agreed upon timelines and cost
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Primary Skills/Qualification Secondary Skills
Degree in Computer Science/Mathematics/Commerce/Finance/Accounting or Business equivalent
Professional Certification in EPM Data Warehousing Analytics Business Intelligence
Certification/experience in Agile/scrum project management framework PMP or related certifications in project management
Demonstrated ability to have led customer project management PMO discussions with customer PMO teams and key sponsors
Project experience working with CXO levels stakeholders of large enterprises
Minimum 3 end-end ERP/EPM direct customer implementation project management experience. Ex. Oracle EPM SAP SAC/BPC OneStream Workday Adaptive Planning AnaplanJustperform Pigment BoardProphix etc ... Basic understanding of on-premises / Cloud Applications
Project experience/knowledge in implementation of - IT Solution in large enterprises Anaplan Jedox SAP BPC/SAC Etc..
Minimum 3 successful on time and on cost adherence to scope/ statement of work project management and project deliverable ownership experience successfully executing and managing a hybrid onsite- offsite delivery model
Prior solution architect/functional business lead experience with important skill of understanding customer requirements and translating to internal team for development providing quality assurance
Knowledge/Experience across industries FMCG Manufacturing Trading/Services Banking & finance Insurance etc.. In functional areas like Finance sales & marketing Supply chain & logistics Inventory management Manpower Management Etc..
Strong hands on proficiency in creating and managing project management templates and document deliverables leveraging Microsoft PowerPoint MS Word MS Excel MS Project.
