Job Summary
An Intune Job/Engineer/Microsoft Intune Administrator manages cloud-based endpoint security and configuration for Windows iOS macOS and Android devices. They handle MDM/MAM deploy apps set compliance policies and use tools like Windows Autopilot.
Key roles include managing security troubleshooting and reducing reliance on on-premise infrastructure.
Device Management (MDM/MAM): Enroll configure and secure corporate and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) devices using Microsoft Intune.
Security & Compliance: Create deploy and monitor compliance policies BitLocker firewall settings and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
Application Deployment: Package distribute and update applications across various platforms.
Deployment Methods: Utilize Windows Autopilot for zero-touch provisioning and manage device updates via Windows Update for Business.
Identity & Access: Integrate with Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) for conditional access and role-based access control.
Troubleshooting & Support: Resolve enrollment policy and app deployment issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Proficiency:Strong knowledge of Microsoft Intune Azure Active Directory and Endpoint Configuration Manager.
Platform Knowledge:Proficiency in managing Windows iOS macOS and Android devices.
Scripting:Experience with PowerShell or Microsoft Graph API for automation.
Security Focus:Understanding of security baselines and data protection policies.
