CoreFactor is searching for an SAP HCM Consultant on a contract basis for a client in the GTA.
This position is hybrid and will require the successful incumbent to be in the office four (4) times per week with occasional travel to Montreal QC.
The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced IS Consultant HCM to support the design configuration optimization and ongoing support of our HR technology landscape. The ideal candidate brings strong functional HR knowledge hands-on experience with SAP HCM and a solid understanding of ERP systems to partner effectively with HR IT and business stakeholders.
Snapshot of a Day-in-the-Life:
- Serve as a functional HRIS subject matter expert supporting end-to-end HR system processes across core HR talent and related modules
- Support SAP configuration enhancements and implementations aligned with business requirements
- Configure and maintain ERP and HR systems ensuring data integrity system stability and compliance
- Partner with HR Payroll Finance and IT teams to support integrations between HRIS and ERP platforms
- Support system upgrades releases and patches including impact analysis and regression testing
- Provide production support troubleshoot issues and recommend continuous improvements
Requirements
- College or University Degree or equivalent work experience in training adult learning organizational behavior human resources or related field
- 57 years of progressive experience in an HRIS or HR Technology consulting role
- Hands-on experience with SAP HCM (one or more modules such OM PA Benefits)
- Strong functional knowledge of HR processes including core HR talent management and organizational data
- Proven experience with ERP system configuration and support
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical and functional system solutions
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
Nice to Have
- Broader SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) experience
- Experience supporting HRIS integrations with payroll finance or third-party vendors
- Consulting or system implementation experience
- Experience working in unionized or complex organizational environments
- Bilingualism (English French) would be an asset but not a requirement
Required Skills:
Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology or related field AND 10 years technical experience in Microsoft Systems engineering Cloud Administration Network engineering or equivalent experience. Microsoft Industry or product specific Certifications 8 years of Hands-on experience in Microsoft Windows Servers Azure O365 Active Directory/Azure AD Exchange (On-Prem/O365/Hybrid) and RDS. 8 years technical experience working with large-scale cloud and Enterprise environments. 8 Years Hands on experience and deep knowledge of Microsoft PowerShell Verified Certifications: Microsoft and other Technology platforms: VMware RHEL Ciscoetc Advanced knowledge managing cloud technologies (such as Azure AWS and Google) Solid experience with Microsoft Servers and knowledge of Server hardware. Solid knowledge of Networking fundamentals (DNS DHCP Routing Load Balancing) Solid knowledge of Security fundamentals (eDiscovery IAM MFA and firewalls) Experience in container technologies and automation Ability to participate in on-call rotational shifts during non-standard business hours that may include evening nighttime weekends and/or holidays. Exceptional writing and interpersonal skills including documenting configuration and support information. Strong customer service focus and attention to detail Desire to take on big challenges and the ability to see the big picture as well as the details. Ability to react with appropriate urgency to situations and requests. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Microsoft Security and compliance Platforms Experience with Microsoft Teams Experience with Linux RHEL Experience managing Microsoft workload for Manufacturing/CPG companies. Ability to lift and move standard office equipment (i.e. computers and peripherals). Ability to travel across North America and within the GTA based on project requirements.
