Position Overview
TheManufacturing Engineeris responsible for developing planning and supporting manufacturing processes to ensure accuracy efficiency and product quality. ThisManufacturing Engineerrole plays a key part in quoting process planning and ensuring that all components and assemblies meet customer specifications while maintaining on-time delivery and profitability.
Required Experience & Skills
Ability toread and interpret blueprints drawings and specifications
Experience withCAD software (CATIA SolidWorks or similar)
Strong understanding ofmanufacturing processes and inspection methods
Ability toestimate manufacturing time inspection requirements and costs
Strongcommunication skillsacross multiple departments and with external partners
Experience working in afast-paced manufacturing environment (3 years preferred)
Strongproblem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
TheManufacturing Engineerrole includes:
Develop and communicatemanufacturing and inspection processesfor each job
Prepare accuratequotes for components and assembliesbased on customer specifications
Interpretcustomer models CATIA files and technical drawings
Plan production workflows to ensurefirst-time product conformity
Estimatemanufacturing inspection and outsourced processing costs
Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams toimprove processes and efficiency
Troubleshoot specification and production issues withcustomers and internal teams
Coordinate with suppliers to ensureoutsourced components meet requirements
Support production teams withprocess improvements and problem resolution
Ensure compliance withcompany policies procedures and quality standards
Preferred Experience
Bachelors degree inEngineering or related field (preferred)
Experience inestimating process engineering or manufacturing engineering roles
Familiarity withaerospace or precision manufacturing environments
Physical Requirements
Ability tolift up to 50 lbs as needed
Willingness toassist on the production floorwhen troubleshooting processes
Ability to work in amanufacturing environment
