Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager Knit Fabric Dyeing & Finishing to lead large-scale textile processing operations. This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving production efficiency ensuring dyeing consistency maintaining quality standards and delivering on-time output.
The role requires strong technical expertise in synthetic knit dyeing along with proven experience in managing large teams within export-oriented textile environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end operations of knit fabric dyeing and finishing units
Manage high-temperature dyeing processes for polyester and nylon fabrics
Ensure color consistency shade reproducibility and process stability
Oversee finishing processes including heat-setting stabilization and functional finishes
Drive continuous improvements in productivity efficiency and cost optimization
Ensure on-time delivery to internal garment units and external customers
Implement and maintain robust quality control systems for technical fabrics
Collaborate with laboratory teams for accurate dye recipe management and process standardization
Develop and mentor technical and operational teams to build local capability
Maintain high standards of safety compliance and environmental responsibility
Work cross-functionally with knitting R&D engineering and garment teams
Support new product development and technical problem-solving with global brand partners
Coordinate with engineering for machine uptime and preventive maintenance
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Must-Have:
Bachelors degree in Textile Engineering Textile Chemistry or related field
Minimum 7 years of experience managing knit dyeing operations in large textile mills
Strong expertise in polyester and nylon dyeing processes
In-depth knowledge of:
High-temperature dyeing systems
Synthetic fibre dye chemistry
Knit finishing techniques
Shade control and dye recipe management
Proven experience managing large operational teams in export-driven manufacturing setups
Preferred:
Experience working with global sportswear or outdoor brands
Exposure to vertically integrated manufacturing environments
Knowledge of sustainability practices and environmental compliance in dyeing operations
