Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Knitting Factory Manager to lead a high-volume circular knitting operation producing synthetic performance fabrics.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for stabilizing production improving machine efficiency and strengthening coordination between knitting dyeing and finishing processes. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise and a strong track record of driving measurable improvements in productivity quality and delivery performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end operations of the circular knitting facility
Manage production planning machine utilization and output optimization
Drive improvements in productivity efficiency and cost performance
Ensure fabrics meet international quality and performance standards
Strengthen coordination with dyeing and finishing teams for seamless production flow
Support technical teams in developing new fabric constructions and innovations
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor production managers supervisors engineers and technicians
Build and enhance technical capability within the workforce
Ensure strict adherence to safety quality and operational discipline
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
Must-Have:
Bachelors degree in Textile Engineering or related discipline
15 years of experience in textile manufacturing
Strong expertise in circular knitting operations
Hands-on experience with synthetic filament yarns (Polyester & Nylon)
Proven track record of managing large-scale production teams
Demonstrated success in improving factory efficiency and operational performance
Technical Expertise:
Deep understanding of:
Circular knitting technology
Synthetic yarn behavior in knitting processes
Fabric construction and defect prevention
Production planning and capacity management
Machine efficiency and optimization techniques
Preferred:
Experience in export-oriented textile operations particularly in Bangladesh
Exposure to working with international apparel brands
