Position Overview
The Plant Oiler - Nights will be responsible forlubicrating all the moving parts of mechanicial equipment.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- Changes oils greases filters and refuels equipment.
- Uses grease guns to force grease into bearings will pack grease cups by hand.
- May assist mechanic in assembling setting up adjusting maintaining and repairing all types of Quarry plant equipment.
- May when servicing equipment drive a truck which carries fuels oils and greases.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
Education/Experience
- Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Physical&WorkEnvironmentRequirements
Frequently required to climb balance and perform tasks involvingphysicalagility.
Regularly sit climb and use hand signals or equipment; occasionally stand walk crawl kneel bend stoop crouch or reach above shoulder height.
Lift and move objects weighing up needed.
Workprimarily outdoors often in extreme weather andenvironmental conditions.
Comfortableworking in all weather conditions; exposed to jobsite hazards such as moving machinery high places airborne particles and loudenvironments.
Must have specific vision abilities including close distance color peripheral and depth perception tooperateequipment safely.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and an ability to work with management.
- Ability to communicate with others and to assimilate and understand information in a manner consistent with the essential job functions.
- Demonstrated effective skills in dealing with employees at all levels.
- Strong negotiation skills and ability to work with suppliers.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks effectively with a focus on timeliness and responsiveness.
- Capable of utilizing the internet effectively for research and evaluation.
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
