The Associate Manager of FP&A for Latin America at Mattel is responsible for leading the regions financial planning and analysis ensuring strategic alignment across business and support functions. The role supports the Manager of FP&A in managing the full P&L balance sheet and working capital providing financial insights that enable effective decision-making. This position contributes by ensuring timely and strategic financial information coordinating closing forecasting and executive presentations while fostering cross-functional collaboration with regional and global teams to drive the sustainable growth of the Toys and Entertainment business in Latin America.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead regional FP&A processes ensuring alignment across business and support functions
- Manage monthly quarterly and annual closing cycles delivering clear performance analysis and action plans
- Develop forecasts and annual operating plans consolidating inputs across multiple markets.
- Provide financial scenario analysis and actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate regional sales performance reviews and ensure data accuracy across local and global teams
- Support executive presentations translating financial data into clear business narratives.
- Oversee planning calendars and internal FP&A processes to ensure efficiency and high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance Commercial Strategic Planning and Corporate teams.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting Engineering or related field.
- English Proficient
- 5 years of experience in FP&A or Commercial Finance in a multinational environment.
- Strong knowledge of P&L balance sheet working capital and key financial KPIs.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into strategic insights.
