Job Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated Inspector Monday-Friday 8.00am to 4.30 pm to join our Non-Ferrous Department. This position requires strong attention to detail knowledge of ferrous/non ferrous metals and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
What youre responsible for:
- You have previous experience in a similar role within the metal recycling industry specifically in materials inspection is highly desirable
- You have knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals their properties and common contaminants or impurities
- You have familiarity with relevant tools and equipment used for measurement and inspection such as scales callipers magnet testers etc.
- You have the ability to work in a physically demanding environment including lifting and moving heavy objects
- You have proficient in using computer systems and software for data entry and record keeping
- You are comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment and being exposed to various weather conditions
Qualifications :
