We are looking for a driven reliable extremely organized pet passionate individual with experience working in a veterinary hospital environment OR strong field sales background with proven ability to learn a new industry quicky.
This position would require the individual to visit veterinary practices build relationships connect and motivate hospital ownership and staff to the advantages of having insured clients and how to incorporate this into their workflow.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a Full Time 40 hour per week commitment a high level of activity to assist in maintaining and building our success and be open to this role youll earn a base salary with a comprehensive bonus structure with opportunity to grow.
This job requires physically visiting animal hospitals in a defined geography daily.
Candidates must reside in the Ottawa area to be considered!
The Role:
- Own the complete sales cycle
- Build and maintain trusted relationships
- Handle objections with curiosity
- Manage your territory with data
- Coach clinic workflows for impact
- Normalize Pet Insurance in the territory
- Grow the territory both in number of active clients and increase same store sales
Requirements:
- B2B Sales success (or successful management of a book of business)
- Be a strong communicator with our clients and our team
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Goal oriented and resilient take initiative
- Tech-savvy comfort and proficiency with the Microsoft suite of programs a must
- Pet passionate and possess a strong belief in our mission to give responsible pet owners the ability to provide the best care for their pet when it becomes sick or injured
- Must possess valid and clean drivers license record and reliable car
Location Requirements
- Must live within the Ottawa area and be willing to be on the road visiting hospitals 30 hours a week in addition to some administrative work from a home office
Additional Requirements:
- This job requires physically visiting animal hospitals
- 1 week training in person at the Home Office
- Occasional weekends for continued learning and development at regional meetings
- Occasional weekends for Veterinary Conferences
