Job Summary
Summary
The Used Car Porter will be responsible in maintaining the dealerships appearance assisting with vehicle movement and delivering exceptional customer service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Move stage and park used vehicles on the dealership lot to ensure an organized customer-ready inventory display.
- Assist with vehicle deliveries to customers including final preparation and staging for presentation.
- Transport used vehicles between dealership locations or to offsite storage as needed.
- Keep the used car lot showroom entrances and display areas clean organized and visually appealing.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with customers on the lot directing them to sales staff as needed.
- Support the sales department with various tasks (e.g. installing dealer tags checking fuel levels light detailing touch-ups).
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any incidents to a manager or supervisor.
Qualifications :
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Physically able to drive and move vehicles
- Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealerships professional appearance
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing background check MVR.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role or automotive industry is preferred
- Basic knowledge of vehicles is a plus
Additional Information :
Compensation (Hourly):
- $18.00 - 22.00 / hour
Schedule:
- FULL TIME
- Sundays Always Off
- Saturday Availability Required
