Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Big Data Developer to join our team in Malaga. You will be part of a strategic project focused on the definition and automation of processes for Initial Margin within the Market Risk area. This role involves working with cutting-edge Big Data technologies (Spark/Scala) to build robust and scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Define and automate complex data processes using Spark and Scala.
Participate in the design and implementation of ETL pipelines and data models.
Collaborate within a specialized Big Data team to handle large-scale data processing tasks.
Perform data validation and rigorous testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Big Data ecosystem within the Market Risk domain.
Qualifications :
Technical Requirements
Experience: 2 years of experience in a similar Big Data role.
Languages & Platforms: Strong proficiency in Scala and Apache Spark (Hadoop ecosystem).
Database: Solid knowledge of SQL (Intermediate level).
ETL: Proven experience in ETL design and data modeling.
Scripting: Basic knowledge of Shell Scripting.
Education: Background in technology-driven projects or Engineering.
Languages: Fluent English proficiency
Nice to Have
Experience with Azure Databricks.
Knowledge of Airflow for workflow and pipeline management.
Previous experience in the Banking sector specifically in Market Risk.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Ability to work effectively in an agile team environment.
Proactive attitude towards automation and process optimization.
