Now hiring CDL-A drivers for a regional dedicated position based in Romeoville IL. This role offers steady freight strong weekly miles and consistent home time every 57 days making it ideal for drivers looking for reliable income and predictable routing.
Drivers will haul packaging materials between manufacturing plants and distribution centers across the Midwest and eastern U.S.
Route & Freight Details
- Regional runs across:
- IL IN MO KY MI PA WV TX GA SC NC NY (no NYC)
- Average:
- 2675 miles per week

- Freight includes:
- Plastic paper and food packaging
- 100% no-touch freight
- Mix of:
- 80% drop & hook
- 20% live load/unload
- Occasional backhaul pickups
Schedule
- Home every 57 days (34-hour reset)
- Start time:
- 5:00 AM 9:00 AM
- Typical workday:
- 1112 hours
- Days off:
- Vary week to week
- Weekend home time not guaranteed
Consistent regional schedule with steady freight
Pay & Compensation
- Avg Weekly Pay: $1450$1650
- Avg Annual Pay: $76500 $85800
Mileage Pay:
- $0.55 $0.57 CPM
Equipment & Work Setup
- International ProStar sleeper trucks
- 53 dry van trailers
- Truck must be:
- Taken home or parked at approved yard
- Parking at account location not permitted
Work Environment
- Mostly drop & hook low physical demand
- Occasional live loads/unloads
- Consistent repeatable freight lanes
- Regional driving with long-haul segments
Requirements
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 3 months of tractor-trailer experience required
- Must be able to:
- Run regional routes
- Work flexible days off
- Handle long-haul trips across multiple states
