Afternoon Express Associate

Heathwood Hall Episcopal School is seeking caring energetic and reliable part-time staff members to our program. The program serves children ages 2 to 14 in a safe fun and engaging environment.
Reports To: Director of Extended Programs Chris McDuffie
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 2:15p-6:00p at least three days per week
Pay: $12.00/hour
Essential Duties
- Creating a safe caring learning environment for students after school
- Maintaining a structured schedule that includes time for snack homework assistance fun activity and free time
- Taking attendance
- Keeping detailed sign-out records to ensure students are picked up by an approved individual
- Preparing snacks
- Planning activities and crafts
- Supervising and engaging with students and ensuring a safe positive environment
Specific Job Skills
- Previous experience in child care
- Team player
- Flexibility with availability and assignment
- Ability to take direction and work well with others
- Have strong communication skills
Working Conditions
- Expansive school campus with 122 acres must be able to travel between buildings independently.
- Frequent walking standing stooping bending may be required throughout the day at various intervals
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
