Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors visitors and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific access control procedures and other security-related policies at a utilities location.
• Monitor entry and exit points verify identification and/or credentials manage visitor processing and help to control authorized access to buildings restricted areas and/or vehicle gates.
• Respond to incidents alarms unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business perimeter and access points to help to identify suspicious activity maintenance concerns and/or security-related issues.
• Document daily activities access events and/or incident details in logs and reports and report policy violations hazards and/or operational concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
