The SRAM Characterization Engineer will be responsible for characterization of SRAM macros with focus on timing power and leakage parameters. The role involves generating characterization views validating data quality and supporting library development for design teams. The candidate will work closely with design and CAD teams to ensure accurate and reliable memory models.
4. Key Responsibilities
- Create critical path netlists for SRAM characterization
- Perform SRAM characterization for timing power and leakage
- Generate Liberty (.lib) AVM and .dat views
- Validate and perform quality checks on characterization outputs
- Analyze timing arcs and power models for accuracy
- Run simulations using Finesim / Primesim tools
- Debug characterization issues and ensure data consistency
- Collaborate with design teams for model validation and improvements
- Automate characterization flows using scripting
- Maintain and update characterization databases
- Review and verify SRAM functional and electrical behavior
- Ensure adherence to quality standards for deliverables
- / B.E / / M.E in Electronics Electrical or related field
- 2 5 years of experience in SRAM/ROM characterization
- SRAM architecture and functionality
- SRAM timing power and leakage characterization
- Understanding of characterization flows
- Liberty (.lib) generation and validation
- AVM and .dat view generation
- Timing and power model validation
- Experience with Finesim / Primesim
- Familiarity with circuit simulation environments
- Scripting in Perl / Python / Shell
- Automation of characterization flows
- Data parsing and analysis
- Characterization data analysis
- Debugging and validation of characterization results
