Team Description

Sabre is looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer is responsible for designing building and optimizing scalable highperformance backend systems that power modern applications. This role requires deep expertise in Java experience with NoSQL databases strong understanding of CI/CD frameworks and growing exposure to AI-driven practices within the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Team/ Project description

At Sabre were passionate about building software that solves this role you will plan design develop and test software systems or applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools. This position is for AirPrice solution which is one of the most high visible and critical for Sabre to stay ahead in market position.

Role and Responsibilities:

Develops codes tests and debugs new complex software solutions or enhancements to existing product
Designs plans develops and improves applications using routine and advanced technology
Works on issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives. Implements strategic policies when selecting methods techniques
Encourage high coding standards using best practices and high quality
Regularly interacts with subordinate supervisors architects product managers HR on matters concerning projects or team performance. Requires the ability to change the thinking of or gain acceptance from others in sensitive situations without damage to the relationship
Provides technical mentorship and cultural/competency-based guidance to teams
Provides larger business/product context. Mentors on specific tech stacks/technologies

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Minimum 4 years of related experience
Experience in fast paced Software Development in Agile environment
Experience and expertise in advanced Java programming and solutioning
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
Very good knowledge of Java Spring boot non-sql dbs CICD frameworks GCP AI Driven practices in SDLC
Knowledge of cloud based tech/languages technology stacks etc.
Proficient English both written and verbal
Self-disciplined and commitment oriented
