Job Description:

Strategic Planning & Roadmap Development

Develop and maintain a comprehensive AI roadmap aligned with Sun Life Hong Kongs business strategy and priorities
Identify evaluate and prioritize AI opportunities across different business units and functions
Define clear success metric and OKRs for AI initiatives to measure business impact and ROI
Stay current with AI trends technologies and best practices within the Finance and Insurance industry to inform strategic direction

Stakeholder Management & Business Partnership

Partner with Business owners and Portfolio POs across the organization to understand pain points and identify AI-driven solutions

Accountability Ownership & Delivery

Own the pipeline / backlog for AI initiatives ensuring prioritization reflects business value and strategic alignment
Define clear requirements user stories and acceptance criteria for AI products and features
Work closely with data scientists ML engineers and developers to ensure successful delivery of AI solutions
Conduct regular sprint reviews and stakeholder demos to gather feedback and iterate on solutions

Governance & Risk Management

Ensure AI initiatives comply with regulatory requirements data privacy standards and ethical AI principles
Collaborate with risk compliance and legal teams to establish appropriate governance frameworks
Monitor and mitigate risks associated with AI implementations including bias fairness and transparency concerns
Establish quality standards and validation processes for AI models and solutions
Translate complex technical AI concepts into business value propositions for senior stakeholders
Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams including Digital IT Data operations Regional Office and Corporate stakeholders.
Present AI initiatives progress updates and recommendations to senior leadership and steering committees
