Your role as a Control Systems Engineer

As a Control Systems Engineer you are the key player in the development of advanced coupling and positioning systems for complex applications. You focus on the full engineering development with a specific emphasis on kinematic simulations and control software throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Requirements Management:
You manage high-level technical requirements related to control and operation and align them with all internal and external stakeholders.

Design & Development:
You translate these requirements into concrete design development and testing specifications for the control software.

Simulation & Analysis:
You model simulate and optimize system kinematics by applying multi-body dynamics.

Software Deployment:
You use your expertise in Matlab/Simulink to translate complex algorithms into efficient C code for the final hardware.

Validation:
You plan and execute functional test campaigns at (sub)system level and ensure technical consistency in documentation.

Helicopter View:
You maintain an overview across multiple disciplines (mechanical thermal electronic software) to proactively guide the design process.

Who are you

Education:
You hold a Masters degree in Engineering (Electronics Mechatronics Mechanical Engineering or equivalent) with a strong background in control engineering.

Expertise:
You have proven experience in developing control algorithms and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing.

Tooling:
You are an expert in Matlab Simulink and Simscape.

Problem Solver:
You combine an analytical mindset with a hands-on attitude and strong organizational skills.

Communication:
You have strong technical communication skills and are willing to travel occasionally for project purposes.

Assets:
Experience with strictly regulated industrial standards and complex mechanisms is highly valued.
