Job Description
As a Security Officer Screening Specialist in Raleigh NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a government location where you will help support a welcoming environment through screening activities visitor interactions and clear this role you will use technology and attention to detail to help identify security-related concerns while delivering professional customer service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures access control activities and/or emergency response support at a government location.
- Screen visitors staff and/or contractors entering the location by following post orders verifying credentials and directing individuals according to site policies.
- Respond to incidents unusual activity and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner and report details through appropriate channels.
- Monitor entry points and high-traffic areas to help support authorized access and help to deter policy violations and/or unauthorized items from entering the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter noting security-related concerns hazards and/or maintenance issues for follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
