Manager Center for Innovation and Learning
Overview
Saint Francis Hospital is seeking an experienced forward-thinking Manager Center for Innovation and Learning to lead our simulation training and educational technology operations. This role oversees a stateoftheart simulation center hightech conference and training spaces and a growing portfolio of clinical education programs that support patient safety workforce development and organizational excellence.
The Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure innovative highquality learning experiences for clinicians students and community partners.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daytoday operations of the Center for Innovation and Learning including scheduling resource management and technology support.
Supervise Technology Specialist and Simulation Technician.
Oversee audiovisual systems conference room technology and vendor/service coordination.
Manage preventative maintenance equipment upgrades and service contracts.
Direct all simulation activities across multiple training sites.
Develop plan and implement simulation scenarios in collaboration with clinical and education partners.
Operate simulation software and manikins (e.g. Laerdal Studiocode).
Ensure alignment with organizational goals for patient safety competency development and workforce training.
Provide training orientation and user support to internal and external participants.
Support instructional design for simulation-based training programs.
Create videos digital assets and technology-enhanced learning materials.
Ensure high-quality facilitation debriefing support and learner experience.
Promote the centers capabilities and support revenue-generating partnerships.
Represent the simulation program through tours presentations and external engagement.
Stay current with trends in medical simulation and recommend program enhancements.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
Experience in healthcare education simulation instructional design or related fields.
Skills in project management collaboration and technology troubleshooting.
Proficiency with audiovisual systems simulation technology and Microsoft Office.
BLS and ACLS certification (or ability to obtain).
Strong communication problem-solving and organizational skills.
