Emergency Services Technician performs administrative/clerical duties in support of an assigned area. Employee is also required to perform telemetry monitoring.

How youll contribute:
Minimum Work Experience: One (1) year of experience preferred.
Essential Functions
Greets patients and visitors. Answers screens and routes telephone calls. Calls codes pages and overhead announcements as requested.
Enters nursing requests subject to the approval of a licensed nurse. Asks for clarification when necessary.
Assists with processing patient admissions transfers and discharges. Assembles and maintains patient records and charts.
Performs needed clerical tasks including copying filing and ordering/stocking supplies.
Assists RNs and physicians with other patient activities as needed.
Perform continual surveillance of multiple monitors.
Identifies significant arrhythmias and/or signs of patient distress and intervenes appropriately. Identifies and corrects for artifacts.
Reports abnormal assessment and telemetry findings or changes in patient physical mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
Tests equipment for proper working order. Reports on equipment problems to supervisor.
Other tasks that may be assigned.

Licenses: Certified Nursing Assistant / EMT / Paramedic Preferred
