TITLE: Part-Time Summer Technology Technician

BASIC FUNCTION:

Assists in projects of the Technology Department throughout the summer months.

REPORTS TO: CIO/Technology Director

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma G.E.D. Certificate or demonstrated progress toward obtaining

one of these and some experience in working with children in an organized setting.

A general knowledge of computers

The ability to work on tasks with little to no direct supervision

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES

Clean and inventory district computers and chromebooks
Clean and inventory classroom interactive boards
Inspect chromebook carts and rewire if needed
Connect teacher compueters to video and sound systems
Assemble and initially setup new interactive boards
Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The work at times requires bending squatting crawling climbing reaching with the ability to lift carry push or pull at least 40 lbs. The work requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
